Some people are having issues where when trying to log in to RSVP they get a windows error stating that Connector.exe has encountered problems and must be closed. Essentially, it is crashing. It's been difficult to collect information on this since I'm unable to re-create the issue.

I however know which version it started in and I have been systematically undoing the changes that were made which should eventually reveal the cause of the crash. As for now there is a version of RSVP labeled vista/connector.exe in the experimental section of our downloads page. Please download it, give it a shot, and post your results here.

The rest of the items were about how RSVP works, but weren't related to any bugs. WooHoo! I hope to get confirmation from a few more people who were having this problem. If this works, it may or may not help the people who are having RSVP crash on Windows Vista. One of the changes made to connector.exe was in preparation for Vista so we'll find out!

I haven't heard anything more about this, and usually no news is good news. I'll send a few follow up e-mails with other players who were having this issue, but if I don't hear anything by Monday then I'll consider this bug fixed.

I have had more confirmation that the experimental version has fixed this. Unless I hear otherwise, consider this FIXED!
