A new RSVP admin program has been released which contains minor bug fixes and aims to be more compatible with Windows Vista. There are several minor bug fixes which I discovered myself and under the hood has been re-designed to be more compatible with Windows Vista. I've already ordered Windows Vista and a computer handle it, but maybe we'll get everything working well before the new goodies arrive. Among the list of features are: Mohaa servers defined inside the val files must now contain port information (192.0.2.1:12205). This is new because while the Admin would work with non-standard ports, the val files didn't support them. Now they do. You can now have a mohaa server on any port and the admin will work with it, and you may define it in your custom val files for your clients. Automatic updates. Yes, RSVP admin will auto-update just like the client does. This is a good thing. Key bindings. You can login by clicking login or pressing enter on the login screen. Many windows close by pressing Esc. There are a couple more, but you get the idea. These came naturally from re-designing the insides to work better with Vista. It's an added bonus which will soon appear in the client program. Should you have any problems with the admin program, please let me know via e-mail or preferably the RSVP forums ( http://www.rsvpfirst.com ) |
